Steps for optimizing hard drives on your Windows 10 HP computer:
Close all open applications.
Click Start and type defragment.
Click Defragment and Optimize Drives.
Modify the schedule, and choose the drives to be defragmented.
Click OK.
Click Optimize, and then select the drive to optimize.
