Steps for removing Nano SIM and MicroSD cards in the HP Elite x3:
Go to All Apps, then select Storage.
Tap the listing for the microSD card, then tap Remove.
Tap Yes, I’m sure.
Use your fingernail to remove the tray from the upper left corner of the phone.
Push up from the bottom of the cards until you can grip the them by the sides, then remove the cards from the tray.
Insert the empty tray back into the phone.
