Steps for backing up files in Windows 10:
Connect a high-capacity USB drive or an external hard drive to your computer.
In Windows 10, click the Start button.
Type Backup settings, and select Backup settings from the results.
From the Backup section of Settings, switch the Off/On button to On.
If the Off/On button does not display, click Add a drive, then choose your drive.
Adjust any desired settings.
Click Back up now.
